I ordered a "Free Sample" of Suvarill and paid the $9.99 in shipping fees and cancelled before my first shipment as was my "Right" to do so, yet my card was billed $79.99 one month after my cancellation for a shipment in which I did not receive, nor want, nor authorize. I called my bank immediately, and will be receiving a "temporary credit" for this amount until this is further investigated by my banking institute.
I would advise all people reading this and going through the same issue with this company to do the following #1) Report fraudulent activity on your card IMMEDIATELY to your bank or credit card company #2) (and this is pain, but it must be done to avoid future aggrevation and loss from this company) CANCEL THE CARD! #3) go to the Better Business Bureau website, www.bbb.org and print out the report on this company (apparently there are 51 complaints on Eight Squared, Inc. As of 8/31/04) #4)
Send this copy of the BBB report to your banking institute or ccredit card company (if you used your debit card attach the copy of this report to the affidavit of fraudulent use that you will be required to complete and submit to your bank with the dispute)#5) File your own complaint on BBB's website (the more complaints they get, maybe they can prevent future damages from this company). And finally #6) Call Eight Squared and RAISE HELL!
They have no right to take money from us whenever they feel like it, and have apparently made alot of people really P'D OFF! Speak directly to the President, Mr. William Leland. Give him or anyone there an earfull! Lets shut these people down! Contact numbers I have obtained: 866-816-0099 / 800-873-4715 / 919-816-0080. Good luck everyone!
