I paid good money for a warranty I was told would cover all household spills, etc. As I have small children in my house, I thought it would be a good idea.
I called one day after the stain occured. The first "go round", there was a mis-understanding and I was told that they didn't cover the leather splitting, which is NOT what happened.
My husband asked to speak to a supervisor. He was told that the coverage did not include spills that caused stains, b/c stains were considered dis-colorations. Based on that, they would NEVER have to come repair/replace for spills.
The first page of the Guardsman Warranty states it covers "all household stains" on leather furniture.
This is a total rip-off. I've had this couch for one week and it is now essentially ruined.
