A few weeks ago i went to pick up pictures at wal-mart, they told me to pay for them up front, i figured i would look at them while i walked and ripped off one end. I also picked up the white sticker to move it toward the top, figuring it might be more easy for me to find it later. I searched for a half hour or more for other gifts before i remembered that i had to get to my boyfriends house to call and set up some very important appointments.
I Completely forgot about the pictures, the security device never went off, but i was stopped by the LP officers and asked if i had pictures, i said "oh my god, i am so sorry, i completely forgot about them, ill do it right now" and i honest to god had forgot, but i never had a chance to explain, i never had a chance for anything i was escorted to the back where they took all my information took pictures of me and the pictures, had the pictures destroyed yet kept the envelope, and the one officer wrote a report... I had no idea what was going on!
Soon there was a policeman there issuing me a ticket to appear in court! I have court in a few days, my mother contacted the district manager on this case, and he said to his knowledge i am guilty! It was an innocent mistake, i have a clean record!!! He also told my mother to tell me to plead guilty or i will end up paying a lot more when i plead not guilty becuase of the trials and fees that follow when they show the tape. I have never been so confused in my life! I didn't do anything wrong, it was a mistake. I don't have any money to hire a lawyer, and don't know what i can do to fight this case and make someone understand me!
