Renting a trailer during our catastrophe, pikewood rented a trailer to us to live in while house was rebuilt. The trailer was smelly, floor gave out in living room. They even had a pickle jar to hold the drain line up in the kitchen sink. Doors broken would not stay closed. Electrical outlets that did not work. Had to clean before use.
Too much to write there is more. To top it off we had to pry for approx 2 months to get trailer removed from my land when we were done with it. Then 5 mths later we get a bill for 1,576.00 to replace the carpet they say we destroyed. After many attemps to sort this out we paid. Bill due to finance charges thay charged us for 76 yards of carpet at 7.00 a yard, padding at 1.50 yard, labor to install carpet was 304.00, paint for floor (they say it was pet odor) 89.50 labor to remove carpet, cleaning and painting 536.50.
They don't take into mind that we went through the floor in the living room ripping the carpet that never happened according to them. Plus they removed furniture and appliances on site never cleaned were stuff was grease food lint etc. Prior to moving out we cleaned it, rented a carpet shampooer to scrub carpets. Then they threw sewer pipe and muddy electrical line in the trailer on top of carpet
