In milledgeville, ga school is out at most of the schools in the county. I had planned to take my children to the library today to check out some books etc... When getting to the library it was closed from december 24 to january 3rd according to the sign. I don't understand how a library can close for that length of time since it is a public building mostly funded by county and state funds. This just doesn't make since to me. Don't they realize that this is a source of education for children while out on break. Something really needs to be done about this. I have been to this library once before on a friday and not a holiday and it was closed then as well. I surely hope that they aren't getting paid for the 2 weeks they are closed, that would be theft of some sort. I understand that the library is mostly ran my college students but there should be overhead to cover the shifts while the college children have gone home for the holidays while school is out. I really hope something is done about this. Thanks for your time
