A book I borrowed from the library accidentally got wet. I offered to pay for it, but I guess that wasn't good enough. Not only was the book still very readable, they were getting a brand new book out of it for free, but the attitude of the people at the library was very insulting. They acted as though I was a thief or a vandal, instead of being grateful I was buying them a new book. And they charged me an additional five dollars just to put a sticker on the book so it could be loaned out. Ridiculous.
