I opened a getsmart visa account about three years ago and about a year ago i received a letter that getsmart visa will become emerge mastercard. Eveything was going smoothly with getsmart until emerge took over. First, my interest rate skyrocketed to 29.99% that's why no matter how much I pay, my balance never goes down. Until now my $2,250 original balance about 1 year ago is still $2,111.00 after almost 1 year although I try so hard to pay the most I can. This company is running a very dirty and deceitful business. Consumers are being ripped off and something has to be done to end this.
