Household Bank, Yamaha Factory Financing RIPOFF, DECEPTION, UNFAIR CREDIT REPORTING, outlandish ripoff late fees Prospect Heights Illinois...
A couple of years ago my husband co-signed for my brother, who was just getting his credit started, a loan to get an ATV from Yamaha. He signed the papers and left with my brother and a new 2001 Yamaha ATV. A few days later they sent my husband a credit card from there with an $9,500.00credit line from Yamaha.
Little did we know that not only did they send my husband a credit card but they sent my brother one too. Well, my brother took this credit card and decided his wife needed an ATV too and went and bought another brand new ATV for her. My husband was only signing for 1 ATV so they deceivingly gave my brother more credit that my husband stood good for.
My brother did not keep his end of the bargain and keep his payments up and was behind several times on them. We were never informed of this by Household not one time and this last time that they were late on their payments they had been late for 6 months and on Christmas Eve we came home and had the very first letter from Household saying "Right To Cure" We never knew that my brother had been late or not making his payments until this letter we received on Christmas Eve saying how far they were benind on their payments and if it wasn't paid by Jan. 15th that they were going to repossess them.
So needless to say we have possession of the ATV's now and we were going to start paying for them until we could get them sold. We had perfect credit and always paid our bills on time. We never had a problem going to the bank and getting a loan for anything, but now since my brother has had these ATV's they have reported us to the credit bureau's as being late and it has ruined our credit scores.
When my husband called them to try and see if they could understand we had no way of knowing that my brother was late on this loan and that we were going to take on the payments for this loan and borrow the money from the bank to pay for them, but they had ruined our credit scores so that we couldn't get a decent loan they said " They couldn't change what they had reported and that was just "TOUGH" I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with these DIRTY ROTTEN SONS OF BITCHES!!!
