I ordered 2 scooters from the wishbook and wanted to get
Them by dec. 7. After receiving the 3rd postcard saying
They were delayed until the week of dec. 17th i
Cancelled. The cancellation was done about 2 weeks prior
To dec. 7. On dec. 19 i got home and the scooters were
On my front porch. I called the wishbook 800 number and
Was told i should have refused them when they were
Delivered. I told them i work 30 miles from where i live
And i was not home to refuse and besides i was told they
Were cancelled. I have talked with 11 different people
And have been told 11 different things including the
Customer advocate line. (yeah right!) i used a visa debit
Card and my checking account was debited $466. And some
Change - the scooters went back on dec. 20. I was told
This morning it would probably take at least a month to
Get a refund and no i would not get my shipping and
Handling back eventhough i cancelled the order - i still
Had the right to refuse. So as you can see it is an
Endless circle. I asked the wishbook line for a number to
File a complaint and was told they had no number but i
Could talk to a supervisor there - that did absolutely no
Good. My point is i did everything as i should and i am
Being penalized. The wishbook also told me they were not
Given phone numbers by sears. They were just an outsource
Company that took orders. Needless to say i will never
Purchase another item from this company. I did get
Scooters from sharper image within 3 days of cancelling
With sears!!!
