I started having my problems with SST Card Services in March due to an error my BANK made resulting in a NSF fee and also a late fee. My bank contacted SST and explained the situation to them. SST was not willing to resolve the problem. I told them I was closing my account with them and requested the pay off amount. I then did a balance transfer for the full amount due. I checked my SST account online approx 2 weeks later to make sure the transfer had posted. It had but there was now a balance due of 27.44 (Finance charge). I immediately (4/11) paid the 27.44 (on-line) and checked the account of 4/16 to make sure the payment posted. It had but low-and-behold, there was now a balance due of 47.74 (Finance charge). I contacted SST, listened to the extremely rude customer service rep and then proceeded to let him know that I would NOT be paying any more money to them and that I was going to contact BBB and my Credit Bureau.
