National Liquidators continue to sell products that are WAY past their expiration date. They also sell products that have been discontinued.
I needed bug spray for my child for summer vacation. I purchased the bottle, when I returned home I called the vendor because I had a question. The manufacturer asked, where did you purchase that item. They went on to ask me to return the merchandise to them because the product was discontinued. The repellent had an item that was found to be harmful.
Months later I needed Metamucil and wanted the best price. (Last week). I picked up the product, when I saw the dust and crime on the cannister I new the bottle was very old. I turned the item over to see the date of expiration was 12. I took the item to the Customer Service Dept. And the answer was, "the product is still good."
I continue to walk around and viewed items, just picking up items to check the date. I would say more then 30% of the merchandise, (foods, Health aids, etc), were al outdated.
Especially the baby products. I think This chain purchases items that other major stores are throwing away!
