I purchased a prepaid reloadable visa for both my children thinking it would be an easy way for them to buy online. WRONG! They held funds for a transaction that didn't go through and after countless phone calls, they said they would reload the amount in 11 days. They charged her a fee, and after a bitter back and forth with my insane customer service rep, I found out that she would be charged $4.95 a month even if there was no balance as long as the card had a valid expiration date.
This was a student card. How dare they rip off children! So I wanted to cancel and get a refund. But I must now wait the 11 days to reload her balance and then I will TRY to cancel for a refund. These are Not nice people. I also purchased a card for my son. That will be my next argument, I'm sure. Google this company and see the horror stories.
