Ordered a book on Nov. 20. Email from a Mr. Simon Verdon, said they don't charge for the order until it is shipped. My bank statement showed they charged my card on Nov. 23. As of Jan. 9, I haven't received the book. No response to repeated emails and phone messages.
I was also charged an international transaction fee. Upon further investigation, I found the company is Open Media Pty Ltd, located in Rushcutters Bay, near Sydney, Australia. I have reported them to the FTC, the FBI and the Internet Fraud division of the Australian Police.
