To make a very long story short, Directv's customer agreement pamplet that they give you at the time of installation does not match the agreement they have on their website. Which by the way is almost impossible to find anyway, I just happen to stumble across it. They have you by the "gonads" on the "Cancellation" section of the pamplet. For some odd reason the part that states if you cancel your contract they can and will automatically pull the entire balance of your contract out of your checking account because they already have your bank account number (that's the section that is ONLY on their website hidden somewhere is VERY small print!
Hmmmm I wonder why that part is left out. I would think this would be a Breach of Contract. Oh and the part they don't tell you about is the fee's they will hit you with if you don't return their equipment, which I can totally understand that but, they dug a freakin hole in my yard and put this big thick pole in the ground to mount the dish, so how the crap am I suppose to pull it out of the ground? I haven't ask them to do it for me yet cause I'm afraid they will hit me with a fine for asking!!! I was better off with cable in the first place and I will never go back to dish again, I found out the hard way when it would take a simple rain storm to disrupt my signal.
