DirecTV is harassing me for payment of a contract I never signed.
I moved from my home in April and returned to my townhome from assisted living in June.
My original DirecTV contract from 6 years ago had been cancelled, the dish removed, the cable removed prior to my departure from my home.
When I returned I started receiving bills and contacted them to inform them I had no dish, cable and no cord to plug in the box. I asked where the box should be returned. They said if the box was returned, I would have to pay for the entire contract term, which was 2 years. I informed them I did not sign a contract, I didn't want the service, I had no dish, cable or cord and therefore, it was impossible for me to receive a signal.
They have continued to harass me by calling me daily. I have spent hours of time on the phone and no one will take any action. I finally squeezed an address from them where they told me to address a dispute and have written to this po box in Greenwood Village, CO. I live in NJ. I doubt that I will ever hear from anyone. I have just sent letters to the BBB in CO and NJ.
