In July I received my American Express Card, as I do every month, except for this time I looked it over. All of the sudden I noticed there was a $1.00 charge on there from yoursavingsclub. Then I looked at my past statements from American Express and these charges went back several months, so I called the 800 number right under the charge.
It was an automated system, you could not get a live person to answer no matter what, so I went to the website and sent an email. Then I found usacomplaints.com and others who had this same problem with this same company and they had listed other phone numbers, so I called one and spoke to a supervisor.
I asked the supervisor how I could have signed up for this without even knowing and she said I did it when I requested a credit report online! I most certainly did not sign up to have $1.00 removed from my AMEX every month while I was getting my credit report! What a scam.
I told the woman to refund all the money they have taken from my account, she refused stating that when I signed up I agreed to allow them to take the money and she would only refund the $1.00 for July. So watch very carefully when you run your credit on the internet, some of the boxes are already checked and it may not seem that $1.00 is much but if you don't notice it for a while, it adds up!
