I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator October 20, with an extended warranty. Since the purchase I have had a service tech here twice to fix the same problem which is that it is not running and blowing cold air. I called the store where I bought the refrigerator, and whirlpool direct on Monday morning to report the same problem. They told me a tech would be at my home Tuesday. I stayed home all day Tuesday, by 5:00 noone showed up.
I called whirlpool back again Tuesday night they promised someone would be there again on Wednesday to fix the problem. Again I sat home all day Wednesday no one showed up. I called Whirlpool again Wednesday night, demanded a new refrigerator. They said until a Technician looked at the refrigerator and said it was bad they would not give me a new one. They set up for service again today Thurs, between the hours of 8-12.
At 12pm no one showed up. I called the technician directly, and they informed me Whirlpool cancelled the service and they were not coming. Now Im being told someone will be here again tomorrow, Friday. I have 5 children ages ranging from 2-11. I have been 4 days without a refrigerator, and Whirlpool is giving me a big snow job Everyday. Im at witts end.
