I was contacted by a Anna Morris who said she was with the Government Grant Information Center. She said I had a grant coming to me of $8000. She was very hard to understand. I would place her accent as Indian, which is odd for someone with the last name of Morris. She asked for my bank account number so that she could send me to a toll free number so that we could process the account and the government would send me the money. I said I was not comfortable doing that and she told me that no money could be withdrawn from my account based on the account number. She then told me whay the routing number for my bank was. I told her that now with the account and routing information that money can be withdrawn from my account. Shortly after that she hung up without explanation. I Googled the company name she gave and was directed here to a story that was exactly like my own but from a year ago.
