A man with a Indian accent called and said I qualified for a grant. The grant was a minimum of $8,000 and max of $25,000. He asked for my address and banking information.
He also read off the routing number from my bank and said they were the only people in the world who could do that. There was a fee of $257 and he gave specific days of when I could pay it. When I told him I didn't have an account, he asked me to open one.
This man said that the process would take between four to eight months and if I didn't get it within that time, they would give me a refund.
The man's name was Steve Woods (employee #0306). He gave me a pin number and the address was P.O. Box 41094, Las Vegas, NV and he couldn't give me a zip code. When I tried to call the customer service number (1-800-530-4282). There was a recording said the eastern times that the business would be opened (Mon - Fri, 8am-6pm).
