Ripoff ignorant unprofessional rude thieves

On June 5th, my husband received an e-mail to entice him with a $250.00 gift card from Wal-Mart. Upon the completion if the survey's, he had to do 2 "promotional offers." He selected JavaTrimDiet Coffee with Hoodia and another company as well. It states on this website, that the coffee is "FREE" and you only have to pay a $4.87 shipping fee. This is what it says in order to trick you into paying.

On June 9th, I was looking at our account on our banking institutions website, and discovered that this company had taken out $85.90 from us. When I called at 2:08 PM CST, and informed them that the coffee was for free, they kept telling me to look at their terms and services. I told them that I had, but that is NOT what I had agreed to. I had agreed to pay the $4.87 and the coffee was for free. They called me a liar, told me to shut up, and this aggravated me to the point that all my manners went out the door. I started to yell at them saying that There was nothing like this when we signed up for the offer and that we wished to cancel any and all shipments. They turned around and said that they will NOT cancel our account. They proceeded to inform me that it would cost me, at first, $35.00, then it went up to $ 50.00, then it went up to $75.00.

I informed them that I will go to my bank and stop payment on this transaction and they informed me, that they have our account information and they will do what they want with it. I told them that had better not, that was considered bank fraud, they said prove it "bitch" and hung up on me. I called back asking for a supervisor or a manager, and the person told me that they were in a conference. When I called back an hour kater, they went to lunch. I called yet again, and informed them who I was, they kept putting me on hold and arguing that I am in the wrong and why don't I just shut up and pay. When I refused, they busted out the terms and services again. When I informed them that it was poorly written and poorl;y done, they said with an attitude, " you're a liar, and we rather speak to Robert than you bitch." Then they hung up on me.

When my husband got home from work, I told him that he has to call, and they pulled the same stunt they did with me, they informed him of the terms and services agreement, when my husband told them that we are within our legal rights, they really became ignorant with us. They told my husband to tell me to shut up " cuz I am talking" and when I do shut up they will tell him what will happen. He told her that he did not want to hear her B. S, we just want to cancel the account. She, then, proceeded to tell him that that will be a $35 charge, then she got her supervisor. When she came on the line, she was rude from the get go, and told him to hurry up because she was going to tell him how it was going to be, when I heard that, I took the phone from him and I told her what it was going to be. I told her that I have it in black and white (about the coffee being free) she called me a liar, and hung up on me.
When I called back, yet for the 6th time. They had already spread around in their workpplace about me and the girl was extremely unprofessional. I told her that I am seeking damages from me not being able to do my home based business because I have been on the phone all day trying to sort this whole thing out, and being on the computer trying to find out where they were located because when I had called previously and asked the girl, she had refused to give me that information. After I had spent over 3 hours on the phone and on the computer trying to find them, I had lost $250.00 in a days wages. Which I am seeking for lost wages, and mental anguish.

When I had called for the last and final time, the
operator was like, " You are known and we were told NOT to talk to you at all, just to take down your name and number and MAYBE someone will get back to you." When I tried for the last time to explain that they were in the fault, she referred me to their terms and services agreement, I then asked her who wrote that a 3 year old. It dcontradicted itself from the first paragraph down to the last paragraph. She was like sighing very loudly and acted like I was an idiot. When I told her fine get someone to call me back, but make sure they give me a FAX number so I can fax them the promotional offer, where it says for free, she then said you're a liar cuz we dont do that. I told her that I have in black and white, then she hung up on me. That ended everything. I also contacted the BBB on them. I was informed that they do over 2,000 companies.
