Cavalry Portfolio continues to report inaccurate amount due on my credit report, approx 1,800 more than I owe. I have contacted Cavalry to clear this matter on three occasions. I have been shifted from one person to another and no one there is willing to help me.
Cavalry has not contacted me in any way regarding my account which I have been faithfully paying monthly for over three years to one of their "clients".
Recently, unknown to me Cavalry took the account away from the "client". When my usual monthly payment (to the client) was not deducted from my bank account I called and was told that Cavalry took the account.
I have sent letters, faxed my current statements to Cavalry reflecting the correct amount, and have called several people on the phone in the last 3 weeks. Cavalry has not responded in any way.
My credit report remains incorrect and now they seem not to want to work with me to continue to pay my account. They have no problem reporting inaccurate information on credit reports and have no intention of correcting these errors.
