As others have stated PayDay loans seem to be the reason for all the madness. The 2 Payday loan sites that I went to are: Unitedcashloans.com 500fastcash.com these sites Sold my Information to CrditPlusRewards.com and to Roadside Plus aka Medplus Rx. Both loans were done on Feb 18th.
On March 3rd 2006 there was a debit from my bank account for $129.95. The name on the statement was Medtel. There was a phone number listed 1-800-975-5642, if you try to call this number you will get a looped recording that tells you that a customer care representitive will assist you in the order your call was recieved. You will be on hold indefinatly.
After one hour on "hold" the recorded message stopped and the phone began to ring. It rang and rang and rang! No person will EVER answer this line. I contacted my bank and they sent me a form to fill out so that I may get my money back.
On March 17th there was an Electronic check debited from my account for $21.95 for Roadside Plus and I called the number my bank Gave me 1-866-321-8235. I talked to a Woman who told me that her computer was down and there wasnt anything she could do for me at the time and i'd have to call back later. She got an attitude with me and hung up.
I decided to do some research online to check out this company and i found usacomplaints.com and I'm glad I did. I found that these 2 companies are tied in together. And that I'm not the only person thats been ripped off.
I tried calling roadside plus again to see if I could get the address of the company and I talked to Jessica (a name that I see in most of the reports on this site) she said that she could not give me that information, I asked her why not? And she put me on hold. When she came back she told me once again that she could not give out that information. She hung up on me.
I contacted my Bank and gave them all the information I had learned and my bank is sending me forms to fill to get me my money back.
I am now behind on my bills. My rent was late and had to pay extra for that. My car payment is late. My car Ins was almost rejected for nonpayment. I have almost no food in my house. All because I got some payday loans!
