In December I discovered a charge for $149.95 on my credit card. I called the company, hdi simple escapes, and asked them about this charge. They said that I signed up for a free 30 day trial when I ordered something from a catalog company and since I never contacted to end this service that they charged me a membership fee.
I told them that I never asked for this service or recieved any benfits from it. They agreed to remove the charge. HOwever, as I was going over my credit card bill, I noticed that this same company charged me $96 in January. I called back and they refused to refund my money. I asked them for proof of when I signed up and told them that I have never recieved anything from them in the mail informing me of this charge. They told me that that was too bad and that I would not be getting a refund.
Always check your credit card bills! This company stinks.
