I was scammed over the Phone by a Damian Morrow who works for Debtxs. I was told to "stop" paying my bills and started paying Debtxs payments for their service.
When I was done paying Debtxs I had spent $4,000.00 that I could have paid my creditors off with.By the time I had almost saved enough money to settle on an account I was in the process of being sued by 2 out of the 5 creditors I had enlisted into debtxs's program.
I had no choice but to file for Bankrupcy. After some investigating I found that Debtxs never spoke to anyone of my creditors and the 2 that were suing me don't even deal with companies like Debtxs. (I admit at the time of my financial crisis I was pressuring myself to find a way out of debt and was ignorant to scams like Debtxs.)
I wish now that I would have explored other options, got counseling and somehow been informed of the scams these companies operate. "It is a Evil world out there and sometimes the demons are snarling at you behind the deceived voices of the willing and hungry masses." I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against Debtxs, I have been informed I stand a good chance of getting my money back since I am able to prove that they encouraged me to quit paying my bills.
