Well, i will try to make this breif. This thing called a zoom copter was sold at christmasat an area mall. The people that were demonstrating it did a great job of fooling alot of people.
I purchased five of these toy helicopters for my children and their cousins. A friend of mine did the same purchasing six. I paid $12.00 a peice for them. They did not last five minutes after they were taken from the packageing. Not only did i feel horrible for giving such a rip off, the children were so disappointed that there were tears.
Well this just really upset me too, and remember this was christmas day. Well i went back to the mall were they were purchased and the vender was no longer there (surprise, surprise). The zoom copter came with a warranty which made me feel that these toys must be pretty good.
Well the "warranty" says to send broken parts and $5.00 and a replacement would be sent at my expense. Well i decided to go online and i found a web sight that was selling the exact same thing for $5.00 online.
As i looked further on this site i found this southern wind llc was talking about how much money could be made from selling these at a much higher price at area malls and other places that allow outside venders i then called the mall corp. And got an 800 number. When i called i got an answering service and no return call.
I know that this must be legal but i really would like to know that another childs christmas, birthday or otherwise is not ruined by this people.
