Legal Zoom made several mistakes that delayed process of registering business with the state by 2 mos. The State sent Legal Zoom letter suggesting postponing registration just 3 weeks (until new yr.) to avoid filing & paying annual fee twice. Owner got the copy of that letter directly from the state; not from Legal Zoom, but only after LZ had registered my business. Legal Zoom would not honor satisfaction guarantee. I paid Legal Zoom many times more than if I went directly to state agency. I thought I was paying for reg. For 501 (c) (3). I only got name reg. With the state which would have cost me only $60. I was really taken!
