I purchased a Protection Agreement, under the advice of the Sears rep on the phone who convinced me it was the way to go, after explaining that it was a Visa Warranty claim. After speaking to Visa Warranty, protection agreements will not be covered, even if the cost is less than the cost of repair. Now, what I need is to have proof of cancellation of the Protection agreement and be charged for the repair. Although I can cancel the protection agreement, Sears refuses to give me an invoice or letter for the repair, that is not under the protection agreement. I want to cancel the Protection agreement and get charged for the higher repair bill! This is the only way my visa warranty will cover it. I don't understand why Sears doesn't want to get paid more for a job they completed. Beware of they selling you the Protection Agreements!
