We were sold on Sears pitch of "They dont stop till you're satisfied". Spent over $12,000. To improve our home with central air. Sears took 2.5 weeks longer then they said to schedule install. When install was finally scheduled it took twice as long to finish as we were told. I try to patient and understanding to the fact that things "come up' but there were days installers never showed up (glad I took time out of work to be there those days!) Excuses ranged from not having a part so they couldn't work that day to brought the wrong ladder, so they took the rest of the day off. Contacting Sears with these issues never resulted in even as much as returning my call. I requested through Sears several diffrent voicemails, my salesperson and several phone numbers that I would like a copy of my sale aggrement and warranty. I still to this day after waiting three weeks have not recieved my requested information or the respect of a return phone call. Once they cash your check you are dead to them. Fortunatly, the contractors Sears hired finally finished and the unit is installed and works despite a couple glitches. As for Sears as a company I was very disappointed and even insulted at thier total disregard for custmer service.in hind sight I would have just gone right through the contractor, that way at least only one group of people could be dissapointing.
