Purchased floor covering for kitchen/breakfast rooms including installation by Wilson's Carpet Plus. Their 'professional' installer came unprepared to move two appliances. We paid $50. Per appliance for two appliances. We were assurred that flooring would be installed in one piece with no cuts. The installer found ripples/wrinkles in front of dishwasher, sinks, over into opening going to living room. He came the next morning trying to 'roll' these areas down. After the second time we stated Wilson's Carpet needed to send someone who knew that they were doing, the installer left without saying a word.
Someone from Wilson's came out, used hair dryer to heat (soften) these areas, but they still didn't stay down. He pulled back a large portion of the flooring which revealed very little glue, plus exposed several large cuts in one areas and another in front of the dishwasher. He applied glue, put down the flooring, but the wrinkles/ripples remain. He didn't think one of the owners would feel flooring should be replaced since these wrinkles/ripples aren't that noticable to him. Apparently, they don't check after the installers to see what kind of work they are doing. They make a sale and don't follow up with customers in any way.
We filed a complaint with SC Dept. Of Consumer Affairs and are waiting to hear from that.
Can't recommend Wilson's Carpet Plus, Summerville, SC., for anything!!!
