We had a kitchen installed by Home Depot, with many promises of how they would take care of us if anything ever went wrong. Well, that has not been true. We have had to fight them for any service on our kitchen... The latest problem is a counter installed by AZ Laminate. It has a big bubble by a seam, and now the excuse is that it is water damage and they will see what they can do. There is no water damage, and AZ Laminate is known to have many problems (this is a fact per the AZ Register of Contractors). This is a counter that has doubled in price because of many mistakes. For what these counters cost, I could have had granite installed by now.
I have noticed recently that customers at Home Depot have no chance of getting customer service. This looks like a new trend, and I know it has to do with their new CEO. This person will take Home Depot down, because you are only as good as your customer service. He came over from GE, and I can see why GE did not make him one of their CEOs.
In other words, customer service at Home Depot has been bad lately. My husband has hired them to do the bathrooms, and I am very afraid of how that will go. As for the counter, we are still waiting for service, and today is August 10, and the complaint was made in May! Good luck to all of us who have done business with Home Depot, because it sure has changed!
