Furniture usa is a scam! My report is much like the others I've read. I ordered Lea furniture in April. Promised it would be delivered within 12 weeks. Starting 3 weeks ago when that deadline passed, I started calling. I have called every single day and gotten no return phone call. Their phones are setup so that you cannot speak with ANYONE. You must leave a message so they can "call you back" but they NEVER do! I've sent 8 emails to customer service and to woman I purchased from, Marsha Fulp. I finally saw the writing on the wall and called my CC - Discover card - to dispute the $448 deposit I paid in April. They are filing a dispute with the company, but it is likely the company will not respond as I understand from researching that it sounds like they are now closed. Discover Card told me that there have been MANY complaints of the exact same nature as mine over the last couple of months.
If you purchased furniture from this company - and paid a deposit-, call your Credit card company immediately and file a dispute!!!
