I live in an historic center where parking is a problem in the evenings on Friday but not during the day, as a reasonably charged outdoor parking facility exists. Sears Repair said scheduled the appointment for sometime between 8 to 12 noon. At 11:45 the technician calls from his truck claiming not to be able to find parking. I tell him of the public parking lot and he claims it is full. I tell him that is odd and if so, to wait as it will soon free up. I left my building to go to the parking lot (5 minute walk) and took photos of many empty spaces. So, I wasted a half day of work waiting for the repair man who decides, hell it's Friday, the last call, and I'll claim there is no parking.
The @#$%^ performance of the repair man is matched by the crazy loops in customer service. I cannot send them an email of the photo. They have no google if I upload the narrative with photo. I cannot know anyone's last name. I cannot know who was the serviceman yet they will schedule me another (but how would I know?). Excuses are made for the deceitful repair man that the parking was an issue in the historic center. I say if that is so, then why did you ever schedule it and let me waste my time? They put me on hold, come back, put me on hold, my cel phone goes black and when they come up, it disconnects.
Will any disciplionary action be taken against the repair man? I know the answer: a resounding NO. Conclusion: junk any broken equipment and buy anywhere but SEARS.
