When I purchased my new home 7 years ago I requested a 10 year structural warranty which expires on February.
Observing worsening of cracks on walls and in the foundation I submitted claims to the Bonded Builders Warranty Group which have denied my claims.
At my expensive I hired professional companies and a Licensed Structural Engineer to assess and validate my concerns.
The Recommendation is that The evidence of cracks in the foundations and the interior wall finishes, the positioning of various interior doors and the laser floor level measurements are all consistent with settling of the load-bearing foundations at the back of the home and that the magnitude of movement of movement of this home and its relatively young age, a structural solution will ultimately be required to avoid significant structural damage and to mitigate future safety concerns.
Regardless of this legal sent report, " Bonded Builders Warranty Group" refuses to take responsibility to make the necessary repairs.
