Worst customer service - worst quality homes - would never recommend this builder even to my enemy

Let me start with what happened when I bought this house. After signing the contract I got bad reviews from friends and family about rockford homes, so I decided to search for any reviews I could find on internet. I came up with the worst review from one of the homeowner of Rockford homes on this website. Furthermore, suddenly I lost my job so I did not have the money to put it for down payment. When I signed my contract - Gary (sales person) said that in case if I choose to cancel the contract I will loose my deposit and we will put this house back in market.

I decided to cancel my contract and not to go forward with buying this house - they said that I cannot cancel the contract and they will sue me in court and put lein on my new house if I buy it within 3 years. They forced me to buy this home with legal reason. I was like ok I will manage something somehow for downpayment and get home. So it does not stop here, Once we decided to buy home we asked them in inspection to complete some of the stuff and they refused to do it saying the variance is acceptable in builders guidance.

So with the blackmail part they said wither buy it or we will go to court. After all, they did some changes and left some and we had to buy house. Ok so I said everything should be left behind and start enjoying life in new house. Then comes issue with the air problem in my master bedroom - They just have one duct for air in Master bed room - "What in the hell"- a big room with just one duct. Asked them and they Asked American Air to come and inspect.By the way AMERICAN AIR is a rip-off too... Will share that with you.

So they American Air came in to check and said they just had one air duct instruction and the air is flowing fine and need to keep door open at night - why we have master bed room - just to keep it open at night so we can get air - unacceptable. I got no response from both Rockford and American Air to fix the issue. The air was not that cool at all - " I bought a fan to stay in my master bed room". I am very unhappy about the quality of home I got from rockford. Then after few months the AC froze - Which I called American Air and they said it was due to my filter, which I change it every two months - technician said we need to change it every month and I was like OK!!! -

I let the ice melt and put new filter in (the tech charged me $149.00 for that trip - but I said I will talk to rockford about it) The next day it froze again with new filter - Called American Air and they said it's low on faeon and I said ok so the filter was not the issue (but they still need to charge me for last night Today trip) I can understand today's trip, but what about last night trip - you did not troubleshoot it - what was the charge for? Just to show up and leaving in five minutes with wrong diagnostics - bad!!! In business since 1989? How? And Why? For this kind of service-

It does not stop here - then they said there is small leak in Evaporation Coil and will charge me $ 179 (for today's trip $508.00 labor to fix the coil. Ok! So coil started leaking within an year? I thought old AC units have such issue not the new one! They said you passed one year of service and how about my complains about AC not cooling my master bed room and other rooms? You did not check the coil to see if the faeon was leaking - They said sorry, we will have to charge this to you to work on it. I contacted the rockford and their answer was that

" Sorry we cannot do anything for you in this case" we were not aware of feopn leak from before and went through the usual bullshit - Then I thought to write this review - Please do not buy homes from Rockform Homes or get AC repair service from American Air - Furthermore, then The nails are popping off from walls within a year of residing which you can see rusty heads of nail on wall. The worst issue is when you go to get help from rockford - They will always say this" Sorry we cannot do anything for you in this case"
