Initally, I wanted 3 bedrooms, hallway and 3 closets but changed rooms to tile. Measure Comp took measurements and left off a room so they built the quote without it. Since Measure Comp did not add the bedroom/office measurement to my quote, they charged another $35.00 to complete the room left off. Finally, Home Depot paid the $35.00 for the inconvenience.
On 07/12, The second representative came out to measure the room again but added in his notes the floor had paint on the floor. To add additional charges to my quote, the representative stated I had paint on the floor and there not any paint. Of course, they scheduled an installer to come out to strip the invisible paint from the floor.
They are adding charges on the invoice that should be in the installation charges. Ex: 20.00 for someone help bring in the tile/carpet, Carry-in-fee for $1.50 per box, a charge for strip the paint from the store and other line item states not built into the quote. The company charged me $35.00 for measurement that were not completed.
All the things/items mentioned above are things that should be added in installation. I am paying for the installation of tile not the additional people you needed.
