My horrible delivery experience was as such. It was December. I decided to give myself a nice Christmas present by purchasing a new washer & dryer. The salesman was nice & explained everything to me as should be I was even able to come back a week or two before delivery & upgrade myself to a nicer washer.
Well my experience went downhill once my appliances were delivered. The lead delivery man was very negative & putting down the other two deliverymen. Also when he went to install my dryer discovered it had been damaged being put together before entering my home.
The lead delivery man yelled at the other two men for messing up. Well he stated he would go back to the warehouse, put a new dryer on the truck & deliver it to me the next day. Well I waited for the usual call before delivery. I never received a call, so I called the warehouse & they told me they did not have me down as being on their delivery list.
I was very upset because they messed up in the first place. So they asked if they could deliver on Monday I said no I had to work & would not be home. I asked for yet another Saturday delivery date. They told me that would be no problem.
When I got home Monday there was a message from the delivery man stating they had tried to come by on Monday to deliver my dryer but I was not home. I again had to call the warehouse & told them what happened. I was upset & they yet again put me down for Saturday which I should have been marked for anyway.
By the time Saturday came I was waiting & waiting no call from the delivery man. I called the warehouse yet again. They did not have me down for a Saturday delivery. I asked to speak to a manager & reamed him a good one. They decided to make a special trip just for me but get this they did not have a dryer in stock at the warehouse for me. So they took the "showroom model" from my local store & delivered it to me.
Needless to say they refunded my delivery charge for the first time they came out & did not charge me for the additional delivery days. I was very unsatisfied with my experience & will not shop at HH Gregg again.
