Sales experience was great and I bought a new washer and dryer, waited 2 weeks for delivery to assure a plumber would install. The store MANAGER described the process and on my invoice they wrote that a plumber would accompany delivery. Old units would be removed. New units would be installed by a plumber and tested. Delivery would call at 6am with 3 hour delivery window. SIMPLE? WRONG!
Delivery arrived, with no plumber. Told that was a separate appointment. They could not tell me when but after SEVERAL sidewalk calls to switchboards and dispatchers I was told a plumber SHOULD come today, SHOULD remove old washer and dryer and install new, but right now I have 2 new machines blocking my tenant's hallway, my old machines still in place, NO WORD on when a plumber may be coming or what they will actually do, NO ACCESS to customer service on Sat. Delivery day, NO ANSWER at the store where I bought them and an angry tenant asking simple questions I cannot answer.
I WOULD NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND. HH Gregg is new to the DC area, so no track record, but so far they are FAILING in communication, coordination, and BASIC delivery. Very disappointing.
