Facts:
1) Ordered table and six (6) chairs on 9/14/03. Total price $2,365.31. Left half on deposit on credit card.
2) Invoice stated "10 weeks delivery"
3) Called at ninth week (late November) and was told "oh, now it will be late December."
4) Called John Lopez (Manager) on 11/25,12/5 and 12/12 to get updates on delivery status.
5) John Lopez calls my wife on 12/16 to say, "oh, now late January."
6) Filed complaints with Better Business Bureau, State General Attorney's Office for New York and wrote a letter to Senator Charles Schumer to request investigation of business practices.informed Island Dinette of this and even faxed copy of complaint letter to Senator Schumer, and received apathetic response.
7) Requested full refund of deposit on 12/17/03.
8) As of 12/22/03, credit card company received no credit request from Island Dinette. Placed amount in dispute with credit card company.
9) STILL NO TABLE, NO REFUND and John Lopez is now out everytime I call.
