A judgment was entered in Larimer County Court on July 28 against JR Flooring and Design for shoddy installation of a wood floor.
The agent for the company Jill M. Rios dissolved the company on 9/14 to avoid paying the judgment. Her husband Rodrigo installed the floor and for a year refused to fix the floor properly, instead forcing me to hire an inspector (who verified the incompetent installation work) and forcing the matter into court. The Rios's blamed ME for the failed floor!
I amleft with a dangerous floor that is shifting, coming apart, gapping and leaving spaces large enough to cause tripping and serious cuts. This company was recommended to me by Champion Windows and Doors (a large company that installs patio rooms). JR Flooring was a ServiceMagic Company, although they have since "voluntarily" ceased their business with ServiceMagic.
Consumers should be aware that Jill and Rodrigo Rios may attempt to start up a new business under a different name. Please don't let them defraud you the way they did me.
