I bought a microwave oven Sharp R-214F in April.in about 3 months it suddenly stopped warming the food. I realized that the oven broke down and started my endless chase after warranty repair and just a part for the oven, because I have learned in literature that the problem is a magnetron.
A call to Sharp was absolutely useless, they gave me telephone numbers of local warranty repair shops, and when I tried to take the oven for repair there were no parts available. The technician said it is not worth to repair the oven, I guess he knew what kind of headache he will have with Sharp. I started searching the Internet for the magnetron... It is the end of October now, I still did not find a thing, spent lots of time, pissed off and tired.
Should I buy another Sharp product? The answer is obvious!
The appliance should work for much longer than 3 months, and if it breaks down within warranty period the consumer should not have a struggle to get help. I just threw out the money when I bought the oven...
