Mesa / Millennium Garage Doors
Poor workmanship/Door installed crooked

On 10/29/04 Mesa Garage installed a door in my garage, and on 11/05/04 I had to call them back because the door would not work right. Subsequently there were five more visits from Mesa to correct this problem to no avail. And still the door was not operable. I finally had to stop calling them because I got sick and was unable to handle the stress and frustration of dealing with them. I had to have a side door put in to obtain entrance to the garage to get my mother's medical supplies out. When I had to move some large pieces of furniture out, I took a GOOD look at the INSIDE and discovered the door was hanged at an angle, not straight. I then called Mesa and explained the situation to them once again. They sent a repairman out and thinking that I only had to pay $29.00 service call.instead I had to pay $195.00 for something that should have been done in the first place. This means I paid them twice for installion for a total of 1038.00, instead of the origianl cost of $844.00. This last service bill states the repairman had to adjust cables, balance door, lube hinges & springs and reprogramed the motor and tighten springs. All this for a door that was not used in five years. I email the owner Ewight Esnard and he replied that he had turned it over to his manager, who wrote back and stated that did I think he was going to repair a door that was 5 years old for free. I answered back that YES since it was not done right the FIRST TIME. I requested a refund, but they did not do so. I could have put a stop payment on the check that day, but no I was trying to do the right thing. As you can see this last repairman fixed the problems that existed from the initial installation. So that is the reason that I asked for a refund, which is no more than right. I do not intend to let Mesa Garage get away with this without them refunding my money. They sold me a door for $844.00 why should I pay $195.00 for their mistakes. Thabk you, Zelma Williams
