Ordered and paid for tv stand on 4/2/03. Called on 5/2/03 to ask where my stand was and they stated it was back ordered even though it was listed as 'in stock' on website. Called back on 5/9/03 and they claimed it was still on back order.
Called back on 5/23 they claimed it was still on back order and was having problems with the supplier (probably for not paying their bills). Called back on 6/2 (now two months after order and payment), claimed it was still on back order. At that time I cancelled order and wanted a refund.
It is now 7/18,3 1/2 months after payment and order. Payment was made out of debit account and over 60 days, so now bank can do nothing about it. I am out $227.00. Filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and consumer agencies and they did nothing.
