At first my fiancee and i thought this moving company was great because of the price they gave us to move our things which was $975 for a one-bedroom apartment. They told us that it was the actual price we were going to be charged and that they would deliver our things on a 24' straight truck. After all of our things were loaded on the truck the total price was $2,000 and they ended up selling the truck to another moving company to deliver our items and the 24' straight truck became an 18 wheeler truck. During the entire time of our contract with them it was very difficult to get in contact with the dispatching agency and the truck drivers. We weren't able to leave any voicemail messages or receive call backs. There was also a point in time when we tought we wouldn't be able to complete the money we needed to get our things and when we asked them if they could hold our things for an extra week until we could come up with the rest of the money they were charging extra fees: $450 for the extra week plus another $200 for re-shipment to their storage unit adding to our total of $2,000.
On top of the fact that they lied to us about the fees and type of truck are things were being delivered on and that they were difficulat to contact, upon receiving our things they were also hiding our things in our storage unit so we wouldn't catch up to the damages that were done. When we noticed what they were up to, we had them move everything and when we looked at our belongings, our things were severily damaged! One of our new cofee tables was broken and the other two were all scratched up. Our kitchen table was also all scratched up, our entertainment center falling apart, our couches scratched up due to poor handling, our new mattresses had a part ripped off and a whole in the middle. Our boxes all had fragile items in them and were clearly marked fragile but even then, they were tossed and handled poorly, and all of our frames where broken and had missing pieces. At the end of this horrible expierience, we noticed we had a missing dresser and a missing box. They had also included two items that did not belong to us.
