In early we had problems with our hot water heater which was still under warranty with Sears. We had numerous service calls, were without hot water on approximately 3 - 4 occasions and the tank still would not work for more than a day. Finally, the tank was condemned and a new tank was installed by Sears on June 28.

The tank worked for approximately one year after that. The second week of June, the hot water tank again failed and we were without hot water for approximately 5 days. The repair person came out and replaced the thermocouple and the tank worked for another 7 - 8 days. Now, on June 29, we are again without hot water and this latest installation is still under warranty with an extended one-year warranty.

I called Sears home repair only to get an answering service because it is Sunday night and the repair service will not be open until 7:00 A.M., edst. Now, I have to wait until tomorrow for a call back on this useless hot water tank. There and 3 other family members who have to go without hot water and I am very tired on Sears tactics. What can we do?
