I was referred to this company by my mother-in-law. When I called to schedule an appt., I advised that we had a problem with roaches and earwigs & asked if they had something specifically to kill the earwigs, to which I was told their chemicals would kill everything. After asking several more questions, I scheduled for a tech to come to my home to spray on 8/12, for which I paid $125.00 for. My boyfriend was home at the time of the appt. & said the tech wasn't even there for 10 minutes. He also said the tech stated it would take a week before we start seeing results. I waited this timeframe to give them the benefit of the doubt & to allow the time to start seeing results, however, we continue to see the same amount of live earwigs throughout our home after the treatment, as we did before A1 came to spray. When I didn't see the results I was told I would get when I originally spoke to Karen Porter when I scheduled the appt., I called the company back on 8/24. I again spoke w / Karen Porter & told her that we're still seeing the live bugs & would like for them to come back out & re-spray because I didn't think the tech did a good job the last time he was out. She kept giving me the run around & telling me that the $125 I paid was a 1x service fee & that they would charge me to come back out to my house. She then told me she'd have someone else call me back. A few hours later I received a call from the same person, and she stated the same thing. When she couldn't resolve my problem, she put Karen Pye on the phone. Karen Pye was very rude, talked over me, talked down to me & spoke as if I was stupid & a thief! She told me they would absolutely not come back out to my house without charging me another fee. First she told me there was nothing she would do for me because I waited 2 weeks to call back (which I did not), she then told me I would have to give their spray more time to work because it takes 10-14 days (which the tech told us 1 weak). She also told me they didn't guarantee their service-which was ridiculous! When someone contracts a pest control service, they expect to see the pests die. When I told her that I'm still seeing the same amount of live earwigs, she told me, "How do I know I'm not seeing the same ones, do they have names on them?" She then tried to blame it on our house, saying it could've had a bug problem for 5 years, or they could be coming from our siding or mulch-I have a brick home & there is no mulch! I told her I wasn't happy with the results, and I know my mother-in-law, who referred me, had the same problem recently & they went back out to re-spray their home without charging her! Ms. Pye then said it was because they didn't like the tech, who's had a lot of complaints on his personality. I did not appreciate her lying to me, as I speak to my mother-in-law every day & she told me the reason they had someone come back out was because of the same complaint I had. Apparently this company thinks it's acceptable business practices to discriminate on which customers they'll go back out to when they don't complete a job correctly the first time. Then Ms. Pye, very offensively, stated to me that if she had someone come back out that, "Her and I would going to have this problem forever!" insinuating that I am a thief, and that I would always expect my services to be free. That is the point that I got extremely upset, as I did not appreciate that accusation & could not believe that someone had such poor customer service skills! I told her that she did not know me & how could she assume that's my character & I would ever expect something for free? I then told her I would take this further & hung up on her, as I draw the line at being personally attacked. I did nothing wrong here, I was a customer taken advantage of & only expected them to make it right. Due to the gross misconduct I experienced, I & my mother-in-law (& all my friends/family) will never use this company again.
