Wave tec pools has a fraudulent owner. Search this owner, not "Wave Tec Pools". Before I explain what they did & continue to do, I must say this owner continues to evade the law, by changing his company name, so BEWARE! OK, long story short... in Aug we contacted Wave Tec, went through an all day "show" from the sales rep, & signed a contract. The pool took from Sept Jan to complete (was told 45 days). The first time in the pool in May I noticed rocks under the liner. After multiple call, emails, voicemails & complaints for over a year, they said they cannot help me as they put me off until the warrany ran out. What I found out when the pool began to collapse was that the concrete base has cracked in multiple areas. I hired an attorney in June.in Aug after they could no longer file a continuance, they offered a settlement for $75,000. We accepted, but little did we know they had already changed the pool company name & had no intention of paying. I now have a $30,000 hole full of cracked concrete that will cost me another $20,000 to properly repair, or $5-10K to demolish. The owner has a big beautiful home and TWO pools in his yard but he cons people out of their money for that. If the law will not put this con artist out of work, THE PUBLIC needs to... I am avoiding "the CROOKS' name", but search WAVE TEC POOLS on the Texas BBB or just google it, you will find his name. Hint: initials are J.H.
