Ken Squires approached me at home and told me I needed my roof replaced, I agreed with him and informed him that my insurance company had denied a prior claim for replacing my roof. Mr Squires said Insurance companies and working with adjusters were his speciality and would I give him a chance to try and get my claim approved, I agreed to let him try and gave him my policy number, insurance company number and also let him review my policy. On that same day I signed a contract that would allow him to do the job if the claim was approved. Several days later I got a call from Mr Squires saying the claim had been approved and I should get a check in about five days. He continued to call me daily to see if I got the check, due to he wanted to start the job immediately.
On 6/19/09 I wrote him a check for 4,500.00 and he told me the roofing materials would be delivered to my home by the following Wednesday and they would start the job and finish by the time the remainder of the funds were available in my account. I began to call him after no materials were delivered and he began giving me excuses. Finally the Thursday befroe the 4th of July I called him and he confessed that he had spent my funds on another job but would begin my job after he got paid. Needless to say he hasn't began my job and will not take or return my calls.
