We scheduled a date of 06/16 as a date to install a new roof. Prices Right Roofing has been making excuses since 6/16 as to why they cannot start the replacement. They promised that they would start the replacement on 06/18 as the last promised date.
We have contacted other roofers since Prices Right Roofing does not seem to honor their commitment.
On 06/19 was our last contact by phone with Prices Right Roofing. They said that our roof replacement could not start until after o6/21 but that was not definite. We demanded the $500.00 Deposit be refunded and that we would make arrangements through another roofing company.
Roofing material has been sitting on our roof since 06/16. It is our understanding that the proper procedure is to remove the old roof completely before new materials are put on the roof ensuring that all boards be replaced that have rotted.
We are absentee owners and we explicity told the roofing company that we want to be present when the roof in being replaced. We could not stay any longer after listening to empty promises by Prices Right Roofing.
In addition we found out that the company had no permit at the promised date of the roof replacement and also we were never contacted by the Prices Right Roofing Company that they were not able to keep the promised start date.
We signed a Proposal and do not know how much legal right we have against a company that does not keep their word.
