I received two red shower curtain rod covers almost a month after I ordered them. They were both damaged and defective. They were crushed on one end, but they were also just crumbling apart on the uncrushed part of them. I think the plastic is just old which is part of the problem. I asked for a full refund. I ordered four more than these two, so I don't know where those are. But, I explained I didn't think I wanted them considering the way they are.
My paypal account was charged $49.95 even though the enclosed invoice for the two red ones was $29.95. I assume the remaining $20 were for the other rod covers which were not yet rec'd. I thought they didn't bill until mdse was shipped.
The order was 12/23/08. The partial shipment arrived 1/20/09. I have placed numerous emails and calls since then and was promised a refund by "Debbie" but, none has come. She keeps blaming the accounting department backlog. I believe they intend to outwait me, but I filed a complaint today to the Toledo, Ohio, Better Business Bureau. I may never get my refund. I hope so.
