Put mattress aet on layaway 2 weeks later i get ripped off

I went to the store jan 15 to put a mattress and box spring on layaway i was not told they were liquidating 2 weeks later i go in to payit off and they say we are liquidating and they wouuld put my name on a list and in 4 to 6 weeks i would get my 100 refund check in the mail now one u dont up and just decide to liquidate in two weeks two i have all my receits and here it is a year later and i have no clue how to get my money back the website dont work the phones dont work what are we suppose to do
